How the finances work when you're a missionary

As a Missionary Associate, I have two budgets that I raise:
1. Cash budget
My needs represented in this category are plane tickets to and from the field, in-country travel, language school, immunizations before departure, and other one-time expenses. My cash budget is right at $8,600. To break that down, if 90 people give a special gift of $100, you will have taken care of my entire cash budget! Every little bit truly helps. I currently have almost $5,000 raised, so you can help me reach my goal!

2. Monthly pledge support
This budget consists of monthly monetary needs--rent, utilities, ministry resources and supplies, travel, insurance, and a small stipend for personal expenses (like food!). My monthly budget is $1,900 and is fulfilled by friends and family sending in a set amount (of their choice) to my account each month. I still need over $1,600 in monthly pledges, please consider partnering with me!

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
I am asking everyone that I know to commit to send in at least $10 a month to help me get to Thailand, or send in a special gift. Thinking logistically, that’s like setting aside the money for a trip to a coffee shop, one meal at a restaurant, or holding off on a random purchase we don’t really need--and allowing that money to go toward missions work instead. And if you know me, then you know that being a missionary has been my dream for many years now…and I can’t do it without your help. :)

YOU CAN SEND SUPPORT TWO WAYS:
1.) Contact me for a pledge form package, and mark whether you are sending in a recurring amount or a special gift. Please make your check out to The Assemblies of God, just don’t forget to put my name and account # in the memo line! Heather Goff #2945533

2.) Get online and go to my website: http://heathergoff.wordpress.com/
Click on the "support" page, then click on the link for online donations. It will take you to the secure Assemblies of God online portal where you can safely donate by debit or credit card.

Just choose whichever method of donating is easiest for you, and know that your money will go straight into my Thailand account.

Thank you for sacrificing a little to make a big difference in someone else’s life--someone who is just like you, only on the other side of the world and completely oblivious to the hope of the Gospel and the Love found in Jesus Christ.

ขอบดุณค่ะ (thank you!),
